I've been a fan of Vietnamese food since my parents would take my sisters and I to the restaurant Minh in Dulwich Hill back in the 80's. It's safe to say my life has got that little bit sweeter now that I can say I live less than 50m away from a misschu. The woman known as the Queen of Rice Paper Rolls has opened up an eatery in Manly. I love that all the traditional street-food is served up in a quirky and laid back setting. The fit out had me at the fake seagulls, and the gorgeous bespoke pendant lights. It's been open since Sunday, so it was perfect timing for a lovely Fathers Day lunch with my little family. If I'm not at home, chances are you'll find me here: misschu, 5/54 West Esplanade Manly
To make a lovely day of Fathers Day, we pushed the new set of wheels across the road on from our dumplings and rice paper rolls to Manly Cove. The weather was dazzling, and our little beach baby had an impromptu dip...the girl does not get bothered by cold water apparently.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
PS. I got the old random number generator loaded again, and the lucky winner of my Fathers Day giveaway is comment #29 SophSanders. Please email me (email@example.com) with your delivery address.
